Factors Affecting the Developmental Status of Children Aged 6 Months to 2 Years in Urban and Rural Areas

The first two years of life, including the period from conception to 2 age, are very important for a child’s growth and development. This study sought describe developmental status environmental factors that influence it in children aged 6 months urban rural areas. research sites were purposively selected: specific health centres city Bandung West district chosen was conducted November December 2022. A cross-sectional with healthy their parents, who agreed participate study. Researchers performed tests using Developmental Pre-screening Questionnaire classifications normal test results delays. During study, 346 met inclusion criteria, resulting sample 164 (47.4%) boys 182 (52.6%) girls. There no significant differences among delays possibility areas exposure screen time, stimulation, nutritional status, use mother–child handbook.
